I don't know about you, but I hardly
know anyone who uses the web to buy big ticket
items - and I
mean
seriously
big ticket items. This is usually
because most websites - apart from Net-a-Porter - aren't
specializing in luxury goods. But the new shopping website
Bon-Luxe is all about luxury items and haute couture gifts.
The site, which launched just a few weeks ago, features
delicious items sourced from all around the world, including
this pearl and crystal encrusted chandelier which was once
part of the collection of London's Victoriea and Albert
Museum ($29,000) or the Balmoral
traditional baby stroller
($3,500). Bon-Luxe also sells silk antique pillows (around
$2,000) and a selection of candles and baby clothes. Even
better, the site offers same day delivery for Manhattan
residents and a personal shopping service, where Bon-Luxe's
team of shoppers will search the world for the perfect
gift. |
